Unlike anti-inflammatory medicines like ibupropen and aspirin, naturally produced resolvins inside the body have no side effects that can harm the gastrointestinal and cardiovascular systems of the body. Salmon is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids. Other foods that contain Omega-3 fatty acids include flax seeds, walnuts, raw tofu, squash, shrimps, scallops, halibut, snapper and soybeans.
